Ingredients: Chicken – 1 kg (Cut into medium pieces) Onion – 1 big (Roughly chopped) Tomato – 2 big (Roughly chopped) Ginger – 1 big piece Kashmiri Dry Red Chilly - 15 Turmeric powder - ¼ tbsp Pepper powder - ¾ tbsp Garam Masala - ½ tbsp Curry leaves Coriander leaves Oil Salt Steps: Grind onion, ginger, tomato and red chilly into a smooth paste without adding water. Heat oil in a pan. Add the ground paste and salt. Add ½ cup water and cook covered till the oil separates. It took me around 20 minutes. Stir often. Once the oil separates, add chicken, turmeric powder, pepper powder and garam masala. Increase the flame and mix well. Cook covered on medium flame till the masala becomes dry. It took me around 30 minutes. Stir often. Take care not to burn the masala. Once the masala is almost dry, cook uncovered for some time. Add curry leaves and coriander leaves. Switch off and transfer to a serving bowl.
