Ingredients: Chicken drumsticks - 5 (De-skinned and gashed) First marination: Green chilly Salt Lime juice Second marination: Garlic – 12 fat cloves Ginger – 1 big piece Coriander leaves Whole black pepper – 2 tsp Red chilly powder / Dry red chilly – To taste Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp Curd / Yogurt – 2 tbsp For mashed potato: Potatoes – 1 kg Butter – ¾ cup Pepper powder – 1 tbsp Steps: Grind green chilly with lime juice and salt. Marinate the chicken with ground paste for 8 hours or overnight. Grind garlic, ginger, coriander leaves, whole black pepper, red chilly powder, turmeric powder and curd to a thick paste without adding water. Marinate chicken with the ground paste for at least 1½ hours. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry chicken. Flip and cook both sides. Pressure cook potatoes. De-skin and mash them. Add butter, pepper powder and salt. Using a hand mixer, beat the mixture until creamy. Enjoy the nadan chicken fry with creamy mashed potatoes.
