What About Required Minimum Distributions? How Will That Work? What about required minimum distributions? how will it work if i'm using an annuity from my IRA? in financial planning there are milestones when to finally take money out of an IRA or an annuity without paying penalties. At 59 and a half you can finally take money out of an IRA. You could also get a reverse mortgage subject to required minimum distributions and the percent that you need to take out from your account every year that percentage goes off every year. This creates a great deal of stress because if you don't take enough out the penalty that's a stiffest penalty. At 62 you can start collecting social security. So people stress out about it. One of the things that we do for our clients is set up a income stream coming out of your IRAs by utilizing an annuity that covers your rmds and oftentimes can cover rmds that for other IRAs because there is a rule called the aggregation rule the ocf for different IRAs one of them is an annuity and the other three are in mutual funds. We may be able with the income rider to cover your entire rmds for the other anu i ra s as well and now you can take away the stress and the worry you've got your required minimum distributions on autopilot that's something we like to do for our clients. We like our clients to feel secure and reduce their stress reduce their costs and reduce their taxes any way we can. ------------------------------------------- Scottsdale Financial Planner - IQ Wealth subscribe to our channel https://goo.gl/8E73gS https://www.iqwealthmanagement.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Exactly what is an annuity? An annuity is a contract with a certified, audited and regulated insurer to supervise your loan and pay it back to you with interest in among 3 methods: ❇️ Through Steady Withdrawals Of 5% To 10% Per Year ❇️ Through An "Annuitization" (Converting Your Lump Sum To A Stream Of Lifetime Payments Backed By The Reserves Of The Company) ❇️ Cashing Out: Simply As You Would With A Bank Account Or Mutual Fund. Annuities resemble mutual funds or bank CDs in the sense that you are putting funds with a certified trustee. They vary significantly from mutual funds and CDs by virtue of that an annuity can be utilized to develop ensured life time earnings for 2 partners, similar to a pension from work.
