Ingredients:
Boneless chicken - 1/2 kg
Garlic - 5 big cloves
Ginger - 1 big piece
Soya sauce - 3 tbsp
Cornstarch - 3 tbsp
Rice flour - 3 tbsp
Salt
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Whole dried red chilly - 2 handfuls
Capsicum / Bell peppers- 1
Onion - 1 big
Soya sauce - 1.5 tbsp
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Method:
Make a smooth paste of ginger garlic paste.
Mix ginger garlic paste, soya sauce, cornstarch, rice flour, pepper powder and salt with the chicken cut into small pieces and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Grind whole red chillies to a smooth paste adding little water.
Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry chicken til golden brown. Remove and set aside.
Remove excess oil, if any and add chilly paste to the same pan. Roast it well.
Add finely chopped onion, capsicum, soya sauce and salt. Mix well.
Add fried chicken and mix well on high flame. Add sugar.
